Jeremy York is the founding architect of the Coursera Career Graph and leads several innovation initiatives to deliver personalized skills-based learning and credentialing tied directly to employer demand and career value. In three years, Jeremy has taken the Career Graph from a small side project to a comprehensive graph with millions of data points that forms the architectural backbone of content strategy, discovery, and assessment across Coursera.
Jeremy’s wide-ranging career spans EdTech, management consulting, intergovernmental affairs, military intelligence, and co-founding a medical device sales start-up. He lives in Maryland with his wife and two young daughters, reads a lot, serves on the board of directors for his county library, and loves coffee and legos (both together and separately).
