Laura Oknefski

Laura Oknefski is the Senior Director of Graduate Academic Programs and Student Services at the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. She provides strategic oversight of academic operations, student services, and career services across the school’s MBA, specialized master’s, micro-credential, and graduate certificate programs.

Laura also serves on the School of Business Programs Policy Committee and the Assurance of Learning Task Force, where she contributes to institutional decision-making related to program quality, outcomes, and continuous improvement. During her time at Pitt Business, she has also played a key role in initiatives to modernize and expand graduate offerings in response to both student demand and employer needs, including the redesign of the MBA program portfolio and the design and launch of a suite of micro-credentials and graduate certificates.

Prior to joining Pitt Business in 2019, Laura was the Director of Retention and Assessment and an adjunct faculty member at La Roche University, where she also held previous roles in academic advising and admissions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College and a Master of Education from the University of Virginia.
