Wu Ligang is Assistant to the President of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), where he also serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. His research focuses on discontinuous dynamical systems, autonomous intelligent unmanned systems, intelligent robotics, machine vision, and intelligent inspection. In scientific achievements, he has published eight English monographs and over 260 papers in international journals, with more than 20,000 SCI citations. He has received two First Prizes for Natural Science from Heilongjiang Province and one Second Prize for Natural Science from the state, and has led over 20 major research projects. His honors include the China Youth May Fourth Medal and the First Prize of the China Overseas Chinese Contribution Award.
