Ms Maha Maisari is the Director of Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness at Khalifa University, where she leads the institution’s strategy, analytics, and performance agenda — driving alignment between education, research, and innovation with Abu Dhabi’s and the UAE’s national priorities.
Her mandate spans enterprise strategy, foresight, data-driven performance systems, and institutional agility, positioning Khalifa University as a globally competitive and future-ready institution. In her role, Ms. Maha also champions innovation in strategy execution, cross-functional integration, and evidence-based decision- making.
With over 17 years of executive experience across higher education, government, healthcare, finance, and hospitality, Ms Maha has led major transformation programs including national healthcare reforms, system-wide change in leading hospitality groups, and large- scale human capital strategies. She has also advised government and semi-government entities on foresight integration, organizational transformation, and strategic change management within the UAE’s knowledge and innovation ecosystem.
Recognized among the Global Top 100 Women in Islamic Finance and Banking, Ms Maha holds a Master’s in Microbiology and Immunology from Georgetown University and is dedicated to shaping future-ready institutions that drive sustainable national and global impact.
