Prof Cathy Weng

Professor Cathy Weng is a professor at the Teacher Education Center and Graduate Institute of Digital Learning and Education, and Director of Public Relations at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech). Her work focuses on AI in education, digital learning, social-emotional learning, intercultural communication, global talent development, and international higher education collaboration. She has led and participated in cross-border educational initiatives connecting universities, schools, industry, and communities across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the United States. Her current interests include human-centered AI, high-tech talent mobility, international service learning, and the development of relational and purpose-driven models of higher education. Through her teaching, research, and institutional leadership, she is committed to strengthening Taiwan Tech’s global engagement and advancing Taiwan’s role in international higher education and talent development.
