Prof Diana Beech joined City St George’s, University of London in April 2025 as Director of the Finsbury Institute – the University’s new public policy hub concentrating on the big issues facing the City of London.
She also serves as Assistant Vice-President (Policy & Government Affairs). Diana has held numerous high-level policy roles in government and business, including as CEO of London Higher and as Policy Adviser to three UK Universities and Science Ministers under the May and Johnson governments. She continues to write widely on all aspects of UK higher education and research policy
