Prof Dr Norfilza Binti Mohd Mokhtar

Norfilza is a Professor of Genomic Medicine and Vice President for Research, Management and Science University, leading institutional research strategy, innovation development, and international research collaborations. Her research focuses on genomic medicine and environmental toxicology, particularly investigating the impact of environmental toxicants on digestive diseases and colorectal cancer. Her work integrates molecular biology, translational research, and precision medicine approaches to advance early detection, risk stratification, and preventive strategies. She has successfully secured multiple international, national, and industry-funded research grants, reflecting strong cross-sector collaboration and translational research impact. Her research portfolio demonstrates active engagement with industry partners, serving as a Medical Advisor, Cotra Enterprises Sdn. Bhd and Clinical Research Consultant, BCRobes Sdn. Bhd.
