Prof. Dr.Zviad Gabisonia serves as the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia. Concurrently, he is a member of both the Council of Europe Committee of Experts on Artificial Intelligence and Education (EDU-IA) and the Working Group of Experts on Artificial Intelligence and Recognition of Qualifications. His prior experience includes serving as an expert in Digital Education and Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth, as well as advising on the legal aspects of Digital Governance and AI at the Digital Governance Agency under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Furthermore, Prof. Gabisonia formerly held the position of Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Alongside his ministerial duties, he is a visiting professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the author of eight books and fifty scientific publications, and the recipient of twelve scientific grants.
