Firdaus Alamsjah is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at BINUS University and Director of CREATES, the professional services and capability transformation arm of BINUS Higher Education. Previously, he served as Executive Dean of BINUS Business School for 13 years, playing a pivotal role in its growth and development as one of Indonesia’s leading business schools. He currently leads initiatives in digital transformation, sustainability, and organizational capability development, engaging over 1,000 professionals annually. He also directs XPloo, the BINUS Center of Excellence in Digital Transformation and Sustainability, bridging academic expertise, applied research, and industry collaboration.
Prof. Firdaus holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus, and a bachelor's degree in Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. He has also completed executive education programs at Wharton, MIT Sloan, Columbia Business School, and GE Crotonville.
