Guangqing Zhang, Professor, recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars & Beijing Municipal Distinguished Professor. Currently serving as Vice President, China University of Petroleum, Beijing.
He long engages in rock mechanics (research & teaching), focusing on rock plasticity and fracture characteristics. Research on unconventional reservoir rock mechanical behavior and CO2 geo-utilizations, aiming for efficient, safe and green development of unconventional resources.
