Professor Hayley Fisher is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education Strategy and Student Success) at the University of Sydney, where she leads institution‑wide initiatives to improve learning, teaching quality, and student outcomes. With a strong focus on evidence‑informed decision‑making, Hayley drives the use of data and analytics to improve curriculum design, retention, progression, and graduate outcomes. She leads the MySydney Scholarship Scheme, supporting students from low socio‑economic status backgrounds to access and succeed in higher education. This work is closely aligned with her research as an applied economist, focused on intergenerational disadvantage and the role of education in improving long‑term social and economic mobility. She is particularly interested in how data can be used to design more inclusive pathways and support student success at scale.
