Prof Hui Huang

Prof. Huang Hui, born in July 1978, currently serves as Assistant President of Tianjin University(abbreviated as TJU) and also as the Dean of the International Joint Institute of TJU, Fuzhou.

Prof. Huang obtained his Ph.D. from Dartmouth College in August 2008 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Northwestern University. In 2010, Prof. Huang joined ConocoPhillips (now Phillips 66) Global Research Center to engage in organic solar cell R&D. In 2013, Prof. Huang joined the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (abbreviated as UCAS) through the Chinese Academy of Sciences “Overseas Talent Recruitment Program”. From 2017, Prof. Huang held progressively senior roles, including Deputy Director and Director of the Faculty Affairs & Human Resources Office of UCAS, and became the Assistant President of UCAS in November 2021. In April 2025, Prof. Huang joined the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of TJU.
