Bin Yang served as Vice-President of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, from September 2014 to March 2025. He is a Professor at the School of Economics and Management and heads the Centre for Leadership Development and Research. In addition, he acts as Secretary General of the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee.
Professor Yang’s academic journey began at Tsinghua University in 1987, where he earned both his bachelor’s degree in engineering and his PhD in management science. His scholarly work focuses on organisational leadership, ethics and social responsibility, and higher education. Over the course of his career, he has published extensively in these areas and has been honoured with several national and municipal awards for his academic and professional achievements.
