She works with higher education institutions andEdTech companies across the region to drive cloud adoption, accelerateinnovation, and deepen strategic engagement with AWS — from AI tutoring,digital learning platforms, to workforce skilling.
Prior to thisrole, Valerie served as the Southeast Asia Strategic Partnerships Lead for theSkills to Jobs team at AWS, where she led initiatives to drive nation capacitybuilding. She partnered with governments, educational institutions, skillingagencies, and business entities to build cloud awareness and literacy,equipping learners, educators, and stakeholders to develop a future-readyworkforce.
Beforejoining AWS, Valerie held roles in marketing research and brand marketing for varioushousehold brands in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, where she ledproduct launch strategies, sponsorships and roadshow activations.
