Valerie Liu Nanqi

Valerie brings 14 years of experience managing complex data, governance, and transformation projects. Currently serving as Vice President of Data and AI Governance at United Overseas Bank, she specializes in constructing data quality strategies and governance alignment.

While her extensive operational expertise stems from leading data initiatives at top-tier financial institutions like PwC, AIA, and Credit Suisse, her ability to build data governance frameworks from zero to BAU is directly applicable to the evolving data demands of the education sector. Throughout her career, Valerie has championed enterprise-wide data literacy, expanding global data capabilities and delivering targeted trainings to stakeholders up to the board of directors.

She holds a Master in Finance from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
