Verónica Ágreda has led UNIFRANZ since 2015. She also chairs Bolivia's National Association of Private Universities (ANUP) and serves as Vice-President for the Andean countries of the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (OUI-IOHE). Trained as an architect in France and holding a master's in Design for Emerging Futures (IAAC & Elisava), she has chaired the Millennium Project's Bolivian Node since 2008. She founded the Business & Woman Institute and FabLab Santa Cruz, and has contributed to national education policy. Recognised by MERCO as one of Bolivia's 100 business leaders, she has given keynotes at the World Women University Presidents Forum and the Conference of the Americas on International Education.
