

The QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026 Committee invites you to help shape the next Summit by submitting a short presentation on a topic or theme to support the transformation of higher education within the region. Proposals will be evaluated on how well they fit within the Summit theme and objectives, and applicants will be informed about the outcome of the evaluation as soon as possible.
The QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific explores the region’s advancement of education for purpose and impact. In Asia Pacific’s rise on the global higher education stage, what kind of leadership will it offer the world?
This year, Asia Pacific defines its global character, and it isn’t simply about scale. Across the region, education has long been rooted not only in advancement, but in community, reciprocity and purpose. Education in Asia Pacific is not transactional, it’s transformational. That isa narrative only this region can authentically own.

As you consider submitting a proposal, please reflect on the following questions:
- How is your institution bringing purpose to student perspectives, recruitment strategies and cross-regional mobility?
- How is your institution evolving partnerships from transaction to meaningful relationships that effect change?
- What approaches is your institution taking to developing skills for meaningful economic and societal contribution?
- How is learning and teaching evolving in Asia, through tech, innovation or creativity?
- How is your institution contributing to the region’s collective role in research impact, especially in AI-driven research and high-tech manufacturing?
- How is social and environmental sustainability experienced in Asia Pacific? How is your institution working to create a more sustainable, just and reciprocal future?
Please note: We can accept up to three submissions per institution or organisation for the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026. Non-academic organisations are encouraged to focus on impact-led storytelling. Proposals that are too product-focused will be unsuccessful.
