QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026 results

The QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026 highlights the world’s best institutions for Executive MBA programmes. With a high focus on Employer Reputation and Academic Reputation, the Ranking also includes indicators focused on Salary Increase, Graduates Promoted, and international student experience.

This year, the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School maintains first place, with HEC Paris also maintaining its position in second. MIT’s Sloan School of Management moves up one place into third, overtaking IESE Business School (now fourth). Having moved up three ranks and one rank respectively, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Yale School of Management are joint fifth.

Global Trends

Despite having the highest number of ranked programmes, 50% of US-based Executive MBA programmes moved down in the Ranking – only 26% moved up. Germany saw 67% of upward moves, with 50% of French programmes moving up.

New institutions

29 new institutions were ranked (+24 EMBA and +5 EMBA-joint). The highest debut was ESSEC Business School in 12th.

Most new entries are from Europe (13), Asia (9) and the Americas (6).

Indicator-level analysis

The UK is the location with the highest average Employer Reputation, while Singapore has the highest average Academic Reputation; Singapore also has the highest average score in the Managerial Experience and Salary Increase indicators. In our Work Experience indicator, South Korea has the joint highest average indicator score, alongside Australia and New Zealand.
