E Way Chong is currently serving as Regional Director for QS Quacquarelli Symonds within the Southeast Asia region and oversees the China market as Partnership Specialist. He has completed his triple crown accredited Master of Business Administration from Lancaster University, United Kingdom.
During the early days of his career, E Way was involved in international and domestic student recruitment for private higher education institutions in Malaysia. He has recruited international students from different countries to study in highly diverse international universities in Malaysia.
In his current role, he is working in the ASEAN region and China to help universities to fulfil its potential which involves internationalization, research and global reputation building. He is also working closely with several ministries in different countries and senior leadership in universities to provide assistance to them in their aspiration to become truly world class universities.
