Worldwide sources of data on higher education

by Baerbel Eckelmann

The QS World University Rankings utilises four key themes as basis for comparison: Research Quality, Graduate Employability, International Outlook and Teaching Quality. That means 50% qualitative and 50% quantitative measures. As for the latter, we invite universities to submit their data directly into our online database and once received it is going through a validation process initiated by the QS Intelligence Unit. Worldwide sources of data on higher education are crucial throughout this process.
