17 December 2025
Held in Singapore, the QS EduData Summit 2025 focused on the intersection of data, leadership, and human impact. With over 300 data strategists and higher education leaders in attendance, the Summit explored how institutions can move beyond collecting data to using it meaningfully - to tell stories, drive change, and shape the future of education.
Across two days, delegates examined how data can inform institutional strategy, support global performance, and enable universities to reinvent themselves in a fast-changing world.
Thank you to all speakers, delegates, our host, the American University of the Middle East, and our sponsors, for their contributions and vision in shaping the future of education.
Key highlights summary:
- Data becomes impactful when paired with human storytelling - turning metrics into meaning and evidence into action.
- Universities must shift from reacting to labour market demands to shaping them, using data to guide long-term skills development.
- Artificial intelligence is playing an increasing role in helping institutions extract insights faster and understand the underlying stories in their data.
- Data strategies should not lose sight of the human context - they must support broad, meaningful education and long-term student success.
